Lukas Vesely is a highly skilled and extremely talented touring and recording musician, composer, and music educator. He has extensive performance experience playing acoustic and electric bass, as well as, keyboards in various styles of music such as jazz, classical, reggae, funk, afro-cuban, and rock.

Over the last 30 years, Lukas has had the blessing and great pleasure of performing, teaching, and recording along side innovative musicians and artists from various musical genres such as Richard Stoltzman, Pinetop Perkins, Grachan Moncur III (Jackie Maclean, Herbie Hancock), Ndugu Chancellor (Michael Jackson, Weather Report), Richie Cole, Alex Acuna (Weather Report), Bob Moses, (Pat Metheny, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Dave Libman, Steve Swallow), David Pomeranz, Taylor Eigsti, Dayna Stephens, Yosvanny Terry, Peter Stoltzman, Dafnis Prieto, Deantoni Parks, Dana Leong, Jessica Sanchez, Secondhand Serenade and electronic music composer/producer, David Last.

Throughout his extensive experience touring with Secondhand Serenade, he has had the opportunity to perform with the follow artists and bands among others:

The Scorpions, Take 6, MC Hammer, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Muse, Radiohead, Lifehouse, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Owl City, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkston, The Get Up Kids, Blink 182, Third Eye Blind, New Found Glory, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects, The Fray, Jack’s Mannequin, Saves The Day, The Used, Cage The Elephant, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros, Motion City Soundtrack, Ryan Cabrera, 3 Doors Down, Yellow Card, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Shinedown, and N.E.R.D.

Within the last 3 years he has been involved with some amazing projects. In October of 2023, he was a featured soloist in Mozart’s Requiem Evermore in Denver Colorado, a modern adaptation of Mozart’s final unfinished masterpiece. At the end of 2024, he played for the Tutti Gala awards ceremony featuring some of the most inspiring Afghani artists alive today including Habib Qaderi and Samir Rohesh. Last October, he also played for Sophia Loren’s 90th birthday celebration with world renowned pop opera singer, Pasquale Esposito.

He will be releasing his next bass etude this month.
